Our life is based on trust, if we shall not have trust on even known ones then the life would become too difficult.

Yes I trust people easily... Many times I got cheated also. .. People take advantage of your trust and they start using you for their vested interests.

That is the basic reason why i don't trust people easily. They have to show me some characteristics for me to have trust on them. :)

Yes you are right, but how would they show it? What kind of glasses would you wear to check them? You never know who can do what while it comes to show their talents.

I agree with that ! In fact even being polite and trying to be helpful too is not appreciated here.I see that when I open the door in shops or some public places to help either old people or ladies with children to pass , there are at least a couple of others who rush in and in all likelihood the person who you tried to help too may just walk off as if it is their birth right without a smile or a nod ...

You forgot to mention that they never even bother to say 'thank you'

Definitely sunil ! I am reminded of a discussion we had here some time back where the member ( I forget who started it ) wanted to know if it is necessary to say thank you to people close to us and most members said there was no need ...I totally disagree with those views, it is only when you teach and cultivate such habits at home that the child learns to respect and treat others in a polite , civilised manner, otherwise it leads to selfish and often barbaric behavior in public, which we get to see in plenty in India . Simply disowning things as being foreign is not wise, one has to analyse it from every angle..

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

Why people cheat others... why they betray others.... is it happening due to moral values degradation?? :(

By nature, man is selfish. As we live in society, rules are framed for better management of society. But basic instinct is selfishness. The bold do what they like and the timid follow morality rules.
