No sir! Have a look at the title itself! She is talking about a single word not words! That a cobination of adjective and noun!!

Gulshanji answered....better half. Is it a single word?

Then it's your homework......either find a single word for 'pregnant lady' or find its male gender :laugh: :laugh:
Can you say....'pregnant lady' is not female gender? :P

@Sunil.....it's a rare case....
One such person is there in our Mahabharatha also...isn't it?
I think, you know that story.

Better half is not an example and Gulshanji has used it in its correct form as it's an idiomatic expression. Taking out either of it renders it meaningless!!

No sir "Pregnant lady" is the correct answer. Can you find a pregnant male? :P

A wrong answer to a right question!!{CJATTACHMENT ["id": 6187]}
The lady is the principal word and you are adding a qualifier 'pregnant'! Wrong ,wrong,wrong ,wrong,wrong! I cry foul!

Don't teach me grammar....I can't understand anything.... :laugh:

Can you find one word/noun that has only female gender....no male gender? :cheer:
It's just a game :P

Don't feel happy.....answer is 'pregnant'.
Actually, it is an adjective......but often it can be used as noun....similar to the word, rich....
Also the word 'pregnant' itself is female gender. So, no need to suffix it as pregnant lady.

ha ha ha......
Now reply......
