Our politicians should be more sensitive to our national problems. If they genuinely cared about them they wouldn't make such remarks.

To expect sensitivity to national problems from Our politicians with their limited thinking and narrow mentality is next to impossible. Its like trying to extract oil from the sand.

I also think that no politician in his right mind would say what we make out of such statements. Let's leave it here and look at the true point that Shinde was trying to put across. Thank you.

If his English is poor, let him talk in his mother tongue and get it translated by an expert.
Actually he said it correctly but the so-called English people of this county interpreted it that way.

A ruling party leader should know that whatever message he conveys to the public especially on sensitive issues, should be very clear to avoid misinterpretations. Let it be any language. We have our own RashtraBhasha Hindi. I want to say instead of using English in an erratic way, he should have used a language in which he's confident.
Does this mean that shinde supported any type of rape. we should understand the real meaning and sense behind words. When some crime is very heinous, we often say that such thing should not happen. It does not mean that we support lesser crime.

We understood what he meant. My question is why one should cling to a language in which he's not good. Being a central minister why he's not using Raj Bhasha?

We as a multi linguistic society must not make it a point to pull it like rubber but must see the elasticity point. I am no good at many languages but some time try to speak them. If I make mistakes that is not my intention but my lack of knowledge of that particular language. If we got the point correctly then language should not be a point of discussion. After all a a language is used to express our points.
