RK Laxman doesn’t need an introduction. Digging at politicians was started by him much earlier than the present day cartoonists in his daily feature “You said it” in The Times of India.

Sankar is supposed to be the pioneer of cartoonism in India. He used to run "Shankar's weekly" exclusively meant for political cartoons years ago. After him RK Laxman continued the work of Shankar. And RK has reached the pinnacles of glory in Cartoonism.
