Why reward for reading articles?

Websites need revenue to meet expenses and revenue comes from clicks on pages, by clicking pages people help earn revenue so part of it goes to viewer too in form 1 point.

Search engines notice the popularity of the site and their rankings are enhanced. Clicks help a lot in enhancing the site's rankings.

My personal opinion is to limit the number of articles that one gets paid for in a day, those interested in reading the articles can still go ahead and read but without getting any points after they exceed the limit..I doubt if anyone would read 200 articles if that gets implemented

Pay no mind to those who talk behind your back, it simply means that you are two steps ahead !!!

True, we can limit the number to 10 paid 'reads' and if someone is still willing to do it to get 'ideas' they can go and read all that is available on this website.

Yup.. That sounds good. Limited points per day is good idea to solve this thing.

If effective measures are taken, earning points will come down for sure. But, by that site,s revenue will be affected.. It has to be seen if the Administrator agrees for this or not.

Site's revenue will not come down, Boddunan is not PPC/ptc site

I see. This aspect is not known to me. Then this site can go ahead with curbing this unhealthy practice of clicking on articles to earn points. At least fix a number of articles which entitle the member to earn points.

Yes... It will not affect site's revenue as earning source works differently.

@suni.. I have one question. Will it affect site's traffic ranking. I mean less clicks means less traffic. Is it like that?
