    Yes, It is one of the big name of film industry.

    He acted in more than 200 films.
    The Government of India awarded him the "Padma Bhushan" for his contribution in 2006.
    We loss a big one actor.

    A.K. Hangal was basically a theatre actor. He also belonged to IPTA which is a theatre group. many theatre artists are also film actors. These actors were prominent in paying tribute to A.K.
