I am totally confused with the Padma awards...apparently Padmashree is different and Padma Bhushan is a different category etc etc..how different I am not sure ! However, this year it was given to Sharmila Tagore ( who deserves it since she has contributed a lot ) and Sreedevi ( who has only done glamor roles from what I see) and Rahul dravid...

Yes Padmashree and Padma Bhushan are different. If we grade these both that Padma Bhushan is A and Padmashree in B. It is right that Sridevi done only glamor role in Hindi movies but no doubt she is prefect actress. Plz watch her Sadma Movie. Earlier Sharmila Tagore was also glamours actrees. But is last days of her carrier she give her best in Aradna, Amerprem, Mousum.

I have watch the films you have mentioned. And I must add one more thing. The Bengali actress was glamorous when she was young, but showed a different side of her her acting later on, as you pointed out.

Sharmila is one of the most beautiful actors of Bollywood film industry, I have seen her all movies right from her first with Sammi Kappor. She was the one who started one piece bikini in Indian films- An Evening in Paris.

I agree ! There are so many yesteryears actors who have not been recognised at all, but they keep awarding only the well known popular faces just like it happens in politics and elsewhere in our country !

He was even forgotten during his playing days. Many Indian cricket fans will remember that he was not selected in the team for a pretty long time. Had he been there, he could have been able to score more runs.
