How many points for new discussion topic?

I read that new post in forum gets 3 points and its reply will get 5 points.But when I posted this thread http://www.boddunan.com/forums/8-feedback/22934-leader-board-information.html my account shows 2 points as credited.Why?

    Abid- I also checked my account. The reply gets you five points whereas posting new topic only two points. This appears a disparity. Posting new topic has more value than replying an existing topic.

    Please check the latest points table. Points for creating topic is reduced to 2

    Good to see that points for replying in forums are increased.

    Still we should get something in exchange of our points which we earn rather than only revenue share?

    I think it was good if posting a new forums topic will give 3 points as compare to reply on the forums topic.

    I think its good change that for reply there is 5 point and for new posting there is 2 points. Its one type of offer by boddunan.

    Reduction of point for initiating a topic is a bit harsh.Those who bring up novel and exciting topics should receive as many points as the ones who reply to these.

    I told it to Moderator in a humorous way.He replied that a discussion becomes lively when reply is posted.So reply should be rewarded highly.

    I agree with Ceeam. The initiator or starter should get more points if not more atleast equal.
