First of all there is always a chance to misuse any feature, that is the reason why we do not introduce any features in hurry.

This feature can be very well misused if we allow points for all visits. However the same can be minimized if we allow points only for registered user visits.

Let me know your views.

I completely agree. I guess that could work, but since I am not a technical person :blush: I don't think I can be of much help!

But, from the replies the thread has received so far, I am hopeful that you will be able to use some of the ideas and come up with SOMEthing. Arun has made some useful points as well.
But, whatever you decide, maybe you can run it on a trial basis and improve on it as u go ;)

Like Kalyani pointed out, Only a single view should be counted for any given IP adrress in any single day.

I also write for Triond, which follows this system. Hence, the suggestion. It does feel good to see how many people are reading your work and knowing that you get rewarded for those views.

Boddunan has MUCH more to offer than Triond. With a few improvements, I KNOW it can really get up there and maybe even higher. I keep making such suggestions because, for some reason, I have a lot of hope in Boddunan! :)

I AM Agree with suggession of Gulshan ji and amount should be paid for ads view not pageview.

As said earlier, there is always a case of misuse. But again there are ways to defend it as well.

For now on boddunan site is not technically feasible to implement this feature immediately. However, we are working on a new look of the website with much more stringent measures for tracking views. Hope it will become success. Based on the initial trial period, we will decide to continue or not. However, not that it will take some more time to become live.

Been writing for instastudio - but of late there isn't much work available. Check it out. I'm sure some of you guys would find it pretty useful.
Already received payment cheques (which they send weekly) so am pretty happy with it for now. Just hoping it doesn't end like 'all good things' :unsure:

No. Pay-per-View was not considered for implementation because of technical limitations and possible mus-uses. The purpose of the site also beaten down if we go in that route. There is no need to give incentives to view the articles.

The major setback, however, is it is against the terms of Google Adsense.
