Hello Marverick,

After the intoduction of revenue sharing, everybody likes to get that amount ( includes me also ) and involved in various activities here to reach the magic figure of 2000 points.
One of the easy way to get points is to post comment on polls. But i can see somebody posting 3 or more comments for the same poll without much significance. At times after posting comment we will have some more thoughts. So we can put it again. But i don't think it will always happen. The only reason i can think of for this is to increase the points.

Already lot of changes are made in polls section to improve the quality. Now its time to imporve the comments section also. So i request you to think of forming some rules for posting comments in polls in order to maintain the quality of polls section.

I have given the link of some of that polls below:

I do agree with you. posting this type of meaningless comments will tarnish the image of Boddunan...

Please do something that might attract visitor's traffic to Boddunan...

I also think that some trying to get point fast so they are posting unwanted things so boddunan should consider only valid comments for poll and should approve poll after reviewing it.

I too agree with you guys.

As a first step, we can consider only one or may be two comments per poll/article considered for commenter of the day award.

Please share your views.

I completely agree. One comment is just sufficent to articulate one's views on a topic.
Yes. I too agree. I think one comment is sufficient. It can be made like if they try to post more than one comment it can display a warning message something similar to "Your limit is over for this poll/article.Please go for next poll / article".

Yes.In these polls a senior member had done the fault.Surely it is for points sake only. Some measures to check is necessary.
I too agree and think its a wrong practice, and should not be done.
I would like Marvick to oppose or support the issue and close it. Make it clear weather its right or wrong.

It might be possible that after posting a comment, user might want to correct it, edit it, or add something to it.. in this case he would want to write a comment again.. so not allowing him to do this is not good idea.

I feel he should be allowed to write as many comment as he wants.. but points to be credited only once.

Yes amit. I agree with you. That seems a better idea to solve this issue

@Amit, As I said earlier, I am agreeing to the fact the number of comments created for points only. However, there are people who post comments genuinely. As a measure of avoiding malpractice, we will consider one comment per poll/article while deciding the winner of daily contests.

Mr.Maverick,
You do not give the number of comments and number of polls of the winner. So we members are not able to confirm whether the said comment had included or not.
