Oats Balls with Pudina Chutney
Oats reduces cholesterol. It is rich in minerals and mostly prescribed by the doctors to their patients. Oats is good and healthy for children and other age group peoples. Proper intake of oats can help us get rid of many unknown diseases. However, Children do not want to have oats in their breakfast. It sometimes become difficult to make them eat oats. The best way to make them eat oats is in the form of "Oats Balls".
INGREDIENTS : -
1. Boiled potatoes - 2 big potatoes
2. oats - 1 small bowl
3. salt - according to taste
4. Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
5. Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
6. Chopped Green chilli
7. Ginger paste
8. Refined / Olive oil - for frying purpose
9. Pudina leaves
10. Boiled Chicken Keema
PROCEDURE : -
Take boiled potatoes in a bowl and mash them. Add oats, boiled chicken keema, chopped green chilli, ginger paste, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder in it. Mix them properly to make it paste. Now make small balls of this mixture. Fry them at a low temperature, till it becomes golden brown.
Now take some pudina leaves. Add 1 spoon chopped green chili and ginger paste in it. Add salt according to taste. Now grind it in a mixture. "Chutney" is ready.
Garnish Fried Oats Balls with pudina chutney.
PREPARATION TIME : -
The whole process would take 25 minutes together with garnishing.
You can serve this item in breakfast or at the tea time in the evening. Serve Oats Balls hot with fresh pudina chatney. Also suitable to serve it in special occasions also.
If you want, you can also use this Balls in potato curry or in egg curry, etc. to make the gravey taste better.
You can also serve it hot with pullao, biryani or fried rice, etc.
If you are vegetarian, you can simply avoid boiled chicken keema. Rest the recipe will be same.
