" Beauty lies in the eys of the Beholder" ..True, very True...But honestly, how many of these 'beholders' would fancy a fat, dark girl to a fair, clear skinned, tall, beautiful dame with tempting locks of hair??

Thanks to the much hype and hoolah created by our advertising industry to patronise such products as cosmetic, designer dresses and the models and the heroines to endorse them. Most girls would give anything to look like Katrina Kaif. We see so many girls hitting the gym...The not so slim to achieve the alluring 36-24-36 stats and the petite to "tone" their bodies, The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence they say... and what happens when you attain that perfect figure??? You fret to maintain it, torturing your body all through the process.

Beauty is "skin deep". It is the heart, soul and mind of the person, the "healthy" looks , the enigmatic personality, the poise, the character and the thoughts that matter. Beauty lies in looking for the good in people and being good to everyone around you. Beauty is the rythm of life and the music of the soul.

Beautiful is Mother Teresa, who selflessly worked for the cause of the downtrodden...Beautiful was Gautam Buddha who attained Nirvana. Beautiful is the person who gets joys into the lives of others.

ach one of us is talented, unique and special in our own different ways. So rather then harping about what we do not possess, why not work on our much obscured qualities and talents??

"The perception of beauty is a moral test" said Thoreau . So let us look at the good in everything around us - Be it our friends, our environment of most likely ourselves!!!!!
