The Intelligent, Internet reading, Indian Language Word processor on Windows. iLEAP is from the LEAP range of products, developed by C-DAC (Centre for Development of Advanced Computing) in collaboration with Mithi.com Pvt.Ltd. The iLEAP software has been developed as per the requirements of the users. This is an independent application software with a very simple user interface.

The desktop view of iLEAP has been made very simple and easily understandable. If you are using sketch mode, then you will sketch tools only. When you are using Marathi language then keyboard layouts are Marathi layouts and the fonts are of Devnagari only. iLEAP has a facility of sending Indian language e-mail from the file menu. iLEAP helps to save the documents in HTML format, making it easy to create web content.

• You can produce web pages in Indian languages.

You can design your web pages using iLEAP. Type the matter you want to send on net, then choose 'Export' option from file menu and export it as HTML. Then this HTML document can be sent as an e-mail also.

iLEAP is an independent word processor. Independent means you are not allowed to work directly in other Windows applications. iLEAP is a full-fledged  word processor, which has its own editing and formatting capabilities, which is not the case with ISM (Indian Script Manager) because ISM is always used with other Windows applications such as Word, Excel etc. iLEAP software is not useful for networking. Actually iLEAP is designed for an individual user and there is no provision for networking. But you can install iLEAP separately in the network.
