Is our education system relevant for jobs?
We all have studied/ still studying for a better life ahead but do you think the things we are studying/ studies plays any important role in shaping us as an individual? Does this have any genuine impact in your career or in future?
As an individual, it's not just the studies which matter. There's more to look further for your overall development. However one can't ignore the fact that studies, or rather let's say Education, plays a vital role in the mental as well as physical outlook of a person.
Studies do play an important role in shaping up our future. It’s our education that gives one confidence more den anything else & invigorates our inner self to do wonders, as they say "knowledge is power". But if we come face to face with our education system, it lacks in many ways. Besides few colleges at G or PG level, all others do business. The way institutions get accreditation today is a dismal scene at all. More than imparting education the sole aim's to exploit the richer section of country
I feel our education system is not at all relevant for jobs. It needs a revamp and should be made more job and industry oriented.
Internships should be made compulsory. This gives an exposure to the students about the practical aspect of what is being taught. Industry tours, Meetings with professionals, case studies, role playing are some other steps which need to be integrated in our current education system.
Our education system proves helpful at times to our growth but it is not all that great considering the mugging up nature of our students which in turn they are forced to do by our education system but this system has helped us a little as in we developed skills to cope up with intense pressure though it may not want us to be very good aptitude-wise but coming to relevance, it is almost out of the way barring a handful who opt for tech studies for higher studies everyone else is left out with little or no training at all. I do feel the strain as i am preparing for mba exams so it is better we train ourselves in aptitude and other soft skills which are not practiced at college.
