I love nature. To me nature is a great friend. It never fails to charm me. It never bores me. Everytime, everything that I see in nature appears new to me. My love for nature has made me a sort of explorer. I like to explore hills, mountains, jungles, and seashores. I hate the rush, the heat and the suffocating pollution in cities. I love our country-side. If you want to see and experience the beauty of nature then pack up and go to some village-away from the noise, crowd and speedy life of the city. You will realise that we belong to the nature. Last week I was in a village near Palghar. It is 65 kilometres to the north of Mumbai. It is bestowed with great natural beauty. The greenary is simply enchanting. This is, in fact, a small hamlet called Dhanupada. You have everything that the mother nature has to offer. But what particularly attracts me is the overflowing river. Villagers told me that if I wanted to see the real beauty of this place, I should go out for early morning walk I was staying with a friend of my father. He has a green lush farm in the village, so early morning I got up and went out for an early morning walk. I walked along the bank of the river, the whole bank was empty, except for the temple priest who was offering prayers to the rising sun.In the east the reddish sky was proclaiming the rising sun. I moved further, there was a small jungle in the other side of the river. In the sweet singing of the chirping birds I experienced the real joy of nature. Within moments the red hot sun with tender warm rays began to emerge on the eastern horizon. The skies were painted in a flurry of colours. Birds were leaving their nests. The rivers was flowing calmly. I sat under a tree feasting the beauty before my eyes. The sun had risen, well high and the fog on the water had begun to go up. The golden sunlight flooded the river bed turning it into a great scene. I could see ladies coming to wash clothes. The temple priest had begun his usual worship and the sound of the temple bell filled the atmosphere. I pulled up my camera and took snaps. I roamed freely about a mile, the fresh air and the awakening beauty deeply touched me. I returned to the temple where I found my host waiting for me. Time to go home. I turned my steps towards my house and resolved that I would take the morning walk everyday as a long I was in the village.
