INTRODUCTION
In today’s world we can never deny of the fact that marketing system has already been an essential part of modern living and modern society. History tells us that people had to hand over their products in a way of imaginary estimate in earlier periods when currency was not invented as a media of exchanging different types of goods. But, system came to prevail in our society, by which people became able to satisfy their respective needs in an appropriately proportionate way. Till now in some places changing of goods to get other goods in exchange happens, these happen mostly in villages of BIHAR and U.P of India as a custom which is running from their grandfather’s time. If we speak about modernization then we cannot stop ourselves from thinking a modern life with modern ways of marketing. A true modern society occurs when there is a good ways of modernized marketing.
NOISY ATMOSPHERE OF MARKET
I have been residing at a highly decorated town for long time, where the residents are conscious for being educated. Here markets are organised on weekly basis, only on Tuesday it is closed. As it is the oldest weekly market it has become the busiest business center of our locality. It is full of crowd from morning till evening. As a result, it creates an uttermost noisy atmosphere accompanied with traffic jam all the day. Though there are footpaths on either side for the pedestrians, it is full of traffic. Tonga’s, car, Lorries and rickshaws also add to the troubles. People have to suffer a lot in their everyday life. They know that if they say to the crowd to maintain some space, so that anyone can take a piece of breath, the crowd will not listen and the person who says that can be punished in any way. And as a result road-accident becomes a characteristic of the town.
IMPORTANCE
But its importance in respect of both material and mental needs can never be ignored. As it has been the central market in the whole locality people so fondly adore it and come to either buy or sell their goods. Besides these, in the evening it presents a charming, eye pleasing scene. Thousands of people walk on footpaths. Fashionable ladies in their smart attire with fancy bags and baskets add to the scenic beauty of the bazaar. A lot of different kinds of sellers make different kinds of trade cry to attract the buyers. And why not they are sellers and they will try every possibility to attract people for buying theirs goods only, so that they can get maximum profit and every seller does that, it is very common in every local bazaar or market. The bazaar also looks very beautiful for the modern shops are magnificently colored. One can buy cloth, toilet goods, radio, tape-recorder, T.V. washing machine, fan, generator, medicines, books, watches, sports material, photographic goods, sweets, etc and what not.
Likable market
There are also shops of fruits and vegetables at another corner of the market. These are full of variety of fruits and vegetables such as mangoes, pears, peaches, grapes, apples, bananas, melon, water-melons, potatoes, onions, tomatoes, peas etc. besides, there are shops of artificial jeweler, confectioner, general merchants, drapers etc, there are also traffic police to control bad characters and traffic jam.
Conclusion
Thus good and bad are placed side by side in the market. People are amply benefited from it. I am deeply proud of such a market. Just because of markets, we don’t have to roam as a nomad here and there. In market everything is there which are needed for common man to survive in this world. We are very thankful for the modern society that we are getting what we want in minutes or in seconds. Starting from our food to our clothes every bit is there in the market. Personally I am very fond going for a market but sometimes it irritates me because of the crowd which is plenty in numbers, its seems like that if a heart patient enters then he/she will not be surviving in this world the next day. But by god grace many malls and many markets are there today which help a common man very much. Start shopping, start going to the market but see that there is no seller who is cheating with you in matters of money because they sell the items at higher rate making us fools.
