ROLE OF SOCIAL WORK IN POVERTY ERADICATION
Social work needs to eradicate empowr and manipulate sections of populations that suffer from poverty situations such as hapless women who bear the brunt of low level of nutrition, healthcare in times crisis, famines, and other natural and man made disasters. Children, the aged ,the displaced, who suffer poverty situations out of natural disasters, social conflicts, terrorism, and ecological degradation to be protected by educating them to imbibe values , work ethics, frugality and saving habits to overcome extreme poverty in the course of their life.
