MTV India – The No.1 Youth and Entertainment Channel.
Not only in India But many Parts of The world. This Channel Was Launched in 1996.This Channel gave birth to many Talents with starting different shows like Roadies, Splitsvilla, On The Job, Rock On, Stunt Mania and Many More shows which no Music Channel ever did.
It brought up The Best VJ’s by giving them a job in MTV. Few worked as RJ’s before joining MTV like Nikhil Chinappa, Jose.

Here is Review about the shows of MTV

*MTV Super Select hosted by Nikhil where callers can call to MTV and request videos from a list of selected videos. This trend was started by MTV and other Channels used this idea and they started shows on this type

*MTV Bakra hosted by Cyrus Broacha. This show was based on playing pranks on Mango People ( Aaam Janta) and also on Celebrities without letting them know what is happening which was loved by many people and still many want this show to make a come back. This Show was also started by MTV and many other Channels copied this and they started with there own names but finally BAAP will always win. Bakra was/is/will be the best show ever.

*MTV Roadies : As MTV People say 7 years back we didn’t start a show but we started a Revolution. Yes This show made MTV go on to the heights and this attracted Many Youth and This show gave many Unknown Contestants get popular and now many dream to be in Roadies as this makes you a star and get noticed in the public within short spam.
This brought up Rann Vijay now the host of Roadies who was initially wanted to be into Army but Now he is the best host and Many Girls die for him.
Once Again MTV gave birth to this show and many other channels now started copying this show but they never can reach to this heights.

*MTV Style Check : Show Which shows you how to maintain your style and which dress suits you and this also gives you the tips for beauty and how to maintain you body.

*MTV DnD : was Hosted by Nikhil and Jose where many new ultra cool gadgets were shown. I first came to know about PS2, PSP from this only. Not only this many tricks where also shown here.As said before this was also copied by other channels.

*MTV Wassup – Voice of Youngistaan : Name it as News Channel for the Youngisthani’s which features everything going around in the colleges.

*MTV Teen Diva : This was like a platform to the under 18 girls to show there talents and become the Teen Diva. This is a direct entry to the Teen Diva International. Rhea became VJ from this Teen Diva. I hope no other channels copy this Show

*MTV ibibo I-Superstar : This show gave a chance to be like the Super Star that they like and whom them feel that they look like them. Not only that they got a chance to dance for a song and make a video for that.

*MTV Splitsvilla : After Adventure, Fun shows 1 show for love started and that is Splitsvilla where Love is War . This show had love, hate, bitchness and which was hosted by Rann Vijay, Nikhil. Now SV 3 Is going to come just waiting how it will turn to.

*MTV On The Job 1 n 2: This show completely related to jobs where different jobs were done every week and contestants proved there talents every week and winner was given a job. Which was like ultra cool to the people who go on try for jobs outside but they don’t get.

*MTV Stunt Mania : Stunt Related show hosted by best Stunt Man in India Alan Amin. This showed how the stunts need to be performed. This was like a teaching school for the newbie’s too.
*MTV Connected This was a twins game show testing them on how much similar they are. Hosted by Nikhil and judged by twins of MTV Raghu and Rajiv
*MTV Rock On : After Many Reality shows finally MTV came up with a Musical Reality Show which is different from other Music Shows which added Rock with Desipanthi in it. Which brought up many hidden talents in india with a musical show like this

*MTV : What The Hack hosted by Jose & Ankit Fadia. A show which will gives you tricks which will make you to use internet very easily.

MTV Hutch Kya Baat hai - This show was platform for youth to voice their opinions, hosted by Cyrus Sahukar. This was one of my favorite shows of all time. In this show, two groups of youths debate on a particular topic.
Says Cyrus Oshidar, Senior Vice President, Creative & Content, MTV Networks India, "Chat shows like this have traditionally been considered the domain of current affairs channels, but not only does MTV have a duty to represent youth opinion, we have a duty to do it very, very differently. While our groundbreaking 'Budget Fundas’ show with CNBC explored youth opinion on a serious matter like the budget, this one’s going to involve viewers sitting at home at every stage – all the while entertaining and enlightening them."
MTV Wassup - Gurbani Judge, Ayushmann Khurrana and Jose keeps us update about the latest news , and also gives us info about latest happening. Show conducts a poll "What say Youngistaan" on some topic that affects youth.
MTV's Pyaar Vyaar And All That - Yeah. ! this was my favourite. I would like to see this show again. This show brings the real Youth of India, a bit different thinking parents. But, yes it brings the real college life, the fun , the crushes , the fights and the love. It was all exciting. I wish some shows like this one to be aired on MTV
MTV Meet or Delete : Where 2 guys/girls go in a date with girl/guy. After few tasks performed by the 2 guys/girl the girl/guy decides who is the winner of this and there has a twist too Anusha asks 1 of the guy/girl lose this game and take some gift.
Now this show is copied some Channel [X] and asking for Dare to go for a date.
