First and foremost cause is unemployment of the parents is a cause for child labor.
The non implementation of the guidelines of commission of child rights.
Child Education is the problem I mean drop out of the children from the school. Education Policy is responsible in some percentage because general thinking that it will not provide the sure employment and also quality education is costly i.e. unaffordable for poor people.
There is no policy from the state for the orphans so those child are prone for the child labor.
No proper awareness.
Non implications of the child labor acts.
Ignorance of the civic bodies.
There is not only single root reason but many factors influence this happening.
Right to Education is good one thought but doesn't mean ne-thing to the child labor because they are forced to do so and other reason they may fed to their family.
In both the condition a child will never use Right to Education. Sometimes a child who is exploited does not know that, He is being exploited how he will use RTE. One more thing and when our government having the mid-day meal kinds of plan, then also we still fighting with child labor so what we can expect.
Someone posted earlier the main cause of child labor is corruption is justified answer because on paper Government doing so many thing to rid of this stain but only implementation is required..
RTE can be remedy because as it is fundamental right it is a positive stage in such a manner like all other right state is forced to do so and its amendment from directive principle to right shows government is serious in subject.
Like others I also accept corruption is the cause but it is cause not only for child labor but for all menaces like poverty, naxalism and others.
