Writing is a means of self-expression. Writing emerged from the natural longing of man to give expression to his thoughts and feelings. The primitive men expressed their thoughts and emotions by drawing pictures. In course of time letters emerged from pictures.

Writing relieves the writer’s mind of the ideas and thoughts struggling, for an outlet. His vision of the world and his experiences set up an inner tension which can be released by putting it into paper. The writer expresses his ideas in clean and figurative language. When exercising, that talent he enjoys heavenly bliss.

Writing is a creative art. The writer creates some thing new. The pleasure of creation is, therefore, one of the various pleasures experienced by the writer. The pleasures of writing are thus incomparable. The writer is a creator, a reformer and one who imparts pleasure to others.
