Mantra to achieving happiness to your daily life

SELF IMPROVEMENT

1. We all know that there are some things we cannot change and something’s we certainly can! A case to point is that we have little or no control over the positive or negative situations, experiences and people we come across in daily life. What we do have control over is, how we react to them. Thus the first principle to live a healthier life is to be control in yourself, your emotions and over all reactions.

2. Start living in day tight compartment instead of letting worries of future creep in. Remember neither can we change the past nor we can control over the future and thus must intelligently focus on moments learning from unhappy ones and cherishing happy ones.

3. Let go of all your negative thoughts, memories of bitter past experiences and disturbing emotions like tensions, jealousy, anger, revenge and guilt. This helps in freezing up the mind and heart, cleaning them muck and re-energizing the brain to work more efficiently and smoothly.

4. Willfully and intensely desire to be happy! Focus on felling from within, may be by recollecting happy thoughts, pursuing hobbies that give joy or simply being with cheerful and happy people.

5. Do something good for other! Every day, make it a point to do a good turn to someone, even if that person may never get to know about it. This will not make you feel good about yourself but will also built you as a person. Similarly, acknowledge any good turn done to you with heartfelt gratitude.

6. Get to know your positive better; your likes, assets, values, past successes, present achievements if any and previous challenges overcome. Identifying them and recalling them will enable you to increase your confidence, strength of mind and belief in your abilities even in trying situations.

7. Congratulate yourself on attaining any kind of success and acknowledge it publicly. Reward yourself for it by doing something you like but can seldom afford to.

8. Avoid stress and tension by getting organized, becoming a good time manager, giving up procrastinating things, delegating tasks and becoming more responsible.

9. Try smiling a lot during the day. If you fell stressful try laughing! If doing so on your own is difficult, then so things that bring on laughter like watching comedies, reading jokes, or even joining a laughing club.

10. Finally, after a tiring day learn to relax and cherish moments of solitude. Listening to soft music, deep breathing, doing fitness exercised, pursuing hobbies, yoga, visualization or simply lying down flat, can do the trick. More importantly try to carve out some space for yourself where you can get away from others and rejuvenate your energies by spending quiet moments of solitude just by yourself!
