Team
Generally the word team is synonymous with office, factory and sports. Let us see the spectrum of team. how is it useful in different fields.
Interestingly in the word TEAM, the bitter word 'I' is absent. It is very significant. A team is a joint venture. Team means together everytime thus resulting in achievment. One more sacred feature of the team is each member of the team is complementary, supplementary and finally means completeness. For example, the husband purchases vegetables, but what if his wife does not do cooking properly? What if the vegetables are tasty but the husband does not eat it gracefully? Thus purchasing of vegetables, cooking and joyfull eating is a circle of team. Three different partners but the goal is one.
It is often observed that the young people are hungry of recognition. the captain should alone get the credit, need to be understood. In any match, the captain of the winning team gets the trophy. May or may not be he had substantial credit in the match. the apportioning of the credit diffuses the valus of the award and hence the team leader should get the credit. In the family front also, we should have harmony. Dependence is a sign of helplessness, independence has got a potent virus of ego and hence interdependence is a desirable feature. Mutuality is an essence of team. In our body also, the different organs have tendency of cooperation, The stomach need food, the hands help in touching the plate and pouring in the mouth. Can we learn from this.
In a team, the vision for beyond individual and the glory of group is again a secret of maintaining harmony, showing metal and no strive for cross cutting, leg pulling measures. From a simple example, we can learn the essence of team. In a cricket match, two batsman, A and B are on the crease. The bowler bowls the ball to batsman A. He hooka the ball and bothe the batsman starts running between the crease. Both are having equal strain. There is a fear of run out for both the batsman. However the score of only batsman A increases and not that of B. Even half credit is also not given to the other batsman. Then why the other batsman takes the strain? Because they keep the team above individual. In the family also, sometimes listening and sometimes entering into a silence zone means a tonic for better understanding. Isn't it? Sometimes sharing a point and sometimes courage to accept the viewpoint of other family members means harmony with a purpose. Always yes and a;ways no means driving a car without any destination. the petrol is consumed and the joy is tarnished.
In a tem, give and take formula has got a functional value. respect for age and experience is desirable. Thus it is said, respect the elders, exhibit charm with younger and show grace with the equals, then even if there would be some dispute but they will certainly go below the carpet. In nutshell, the art of delegation, sensible appreciation, praise in presence and fault  finding privately are the essential roots for building a team.
