We are "Citizen Earth"
When we meet a childhood friend after a very long time..... Only expression speaks. Apart from this , it is also going to be an emotional moment because he is the friend, who was very close during our school or college days and meeting him after a long time, doesn't gives any chance of just saying Hi! and return to our work.
Truly it is only because of these pleasant emotions, there is a meaning for every human life. Well the reason for the example above is that, in this article we are going to see something which seems to be very ordinary but, priceless.So every human mus have some good emotions so that he has the heart to help others.
I really don't have any topic for this discussion, but still I have to keep a topic and so I’ve chose this as the topic for this article. This is a beautiful world and when we just close our eyes and think what are we going to take with us when we die, I guess we visualize nothing...But, at the same time, when we close our eyes and think of a situation why we are born in this world, really we might visualize many things. So let us always be positive and so let us consider the second case, that, why we are here in this world, and what we are supposed to do in this beautiful world, with the help of the Gifted LIFE.
Well two important aspects that really hurts the mankind are War and Poverty.As a matter of fact Poverty also arises due to war and so a war free world ensures that we are moving towards a peaceful world.Let us discuss about these issues as a citizen of this earth.
Well, we can say "helping others" is going to be the best way by which we can do at least something to our mankind. In this world nobody has any priority, rich or poor doesn't come to play when we speak practically. But still there is a thin line that separates these two categories. We are all born as human and the only thing that separates the rich and poor is that, being born to a rich or a poor family. So let us take this discussion to our past, to find the source, how man was originated in this world.
Those times are considered to be the best, because when man evolved from ape, everyone were considered as equal and there is no barrier between any people. Thinks started to change, during the medieval period and also some time before this era (medieval period), because humans started to dominate his fellowman once he has become rich. The barrier started to develop and as a result of this the rich started to dominate the poor people and it becomes worse when the theme of Kingdom and Kings started to establish. This is also the start of decline of the value of “LOVE” towards human.
To be frank, all that Iam going to discuss in this article are from my point of view and if it hurts anyone Iam extremely sorry for that. From my point of view, we must never say no, to peace and love towards mankind. Really, it is frustrating to see how the politicians are involved in corruption in today’s world. At least they must look at this picture below.
I guess, most of you would have seen this photo. This is the photograph taken by the famous South African Photographer Kevin Carter. Really this is the photograph which shouldn’t have been taken and even the photographer felt the same. Kevin died a year later after taking photograph. Reports says that he committed suicide and he also left a note before his suicide,
"I am depressed ... without phone ... money for rent ... money for child support ... money for debts ... money!!! ... I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings and corpses and anger and pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners................”.
Do you know the situation, when he took this photograph? In March 1993, he along with some photographers went to the African Country Sudan, where many people died, due to poverty. They travelled with the UN refugee members in a plane where they dropped food packets for the people who suffered from poverty.The plane landed in a place to distribute the food, and the photographers were given 30 minutes time, before the plane to take off. I guess, this would have been the worst moment in his life.
Because he saw this child alone as their parents reached the plane to get food for this child. Very sick, this child was on the ground and the vulture came and sat near the child.It symbolically explains that the vulture is ready for taking this child as its food. Kevin moved slowly, to take this photograph, so that he doesn’t disturb the vulture and not making it fly.
Really moved and shocked after seeing this scene he also tried to help the child, but the photographers were not allowed to touch anybody, those who are affected by the famine.Many people criticized him for taking this photograph rather than helping the child. One of the famous criticisms, that Kevin received for this photograph, where he was described as another vulture, states as"
The man adjusting his lens to take just the right frame of her(the child) suffering might just as well be a predator, another vulture on the scene."
He also won Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography for this photo and when this photo was seen by people, many asked him about the fate of the child, which Kevin managed to explain that the child had enough strength to move away from the vulture.
But, as a matter of fact, the real status about the child is unknown.This is just an example to show our politician that there are people in this part of the world, not even able to get a single meal per day. I frankly say, that Iam not sure, whether they will feel after seeing this photograph. But at the same time we must respect the statement “Not all the politician are bad”.
Really those politicians, who came to politics with the idea of helping people, will realize what is happening. Some of you might feel why I have to explain about this photograph. Yes, I do have a reason for this. The love towards other people develops, only when we start to help others.This doesn’t mean we have to go to Sudan and help those people who are suffering from poverty, yet it can be done for those who are very rich.
It is not only due to climate chane that those people are suffereing from poverty, man is also responsible for this in the name of war.We shall discuss the effect of war later in this article and the image below is good enough to shows the sorry state of war.Well, no body knows what happen to this child and what is going to his future
What I’ve intended to say is that, there are lots of people in our country and in our own place where we are staying. Let us take a chance to help those people.For example, whenever we celebrate our birthday we spend lots of money for the party, and that is acceptable and Iam not saying that it is wrong.
What I wish you to do is, just spend at least some decent amount around 200 to 500 rupees according to our earnings, to the nearest orphanage home.Well, let me frank with you. Even I had no ideas of spending money for the orphans at my young age. Later I also realized that some people celebrate their birthdays along with those kids who lost their parents and being brought up by the orphanage home.
I also saw some of my relatives and friends do the same.So form my next birthday, I started to contribute a decent amount of money and also rice to the orphanage home, thanks to my parents as they were also a main source of inspiration for guiding me. Well, I haven’t done anything special when compared to thousands of people who spend their entire time for the benefits of these children.
But, I can assure you that after getting a job and earning money on my own, I can still do something better than this. I am 100 % percent sure that, many people who are reading this article, might have done extremely good and valuable things and also helped those people in some way or other, 1000 times better than what I did.So after reading this article I ask you to express your view of helping the poor, so that all can follow it.

There is a way, where we can make the situation better and this can be done only when we think any situation from a wide perspective. We need to see this world in an entirely different way, rather than thinking from money point of view alone. We can explain others those who get tensed often and scold other people unnecessarily, in a polite way and make them understand to realize what the true world is and what is happening on the other side of this earth.
First we must make ourselves think and visualize in what we do or what we are supposed to do before taking a decision or before getting involved in any activity. I guess most of the terrorist who involve in killing of people just don’t realize what they are doing. They think whatever they do is right and they don’t have the ability to think what they are doing and Iam sure when they start to think or analyses before getting into any terror activities, there is a chance that they can change their mind.
The picture above explains the current situation that many people, especially the kids experience.War is a very cruel thing, that kills innocentpeople and also makes many people to hate this life.Many people who are affected by war, don't have food and shelter and many died due to this.We are not sure when this war will stop and when we can see a peaceful world.We are also not sure that we are moving towards a warfree world.
The most beautiful thing in this world is the smile which we see, when we make others happy and iam sure the lack of this smile due to machine life is also another reason why the value of mankind is not respected. To an extent sports plays a very vital role, because the concept of sportsmanship is similar to that of the theme of the life .i.e. even though we compete against each other we are friends after the match is over and we must also congratulate the winning team.
It doesn’t matter if we lose in our life because life is like a sinusoidal wave, where we see both ups and downs and so whatever may be situation we must control our anger and at the same time we must respect and love others irrespective of the age. The concept of life is to love the human being and treat all humans as our friends .So let us make this life beautiful and free from poverty and let us start to do something for the benefit of the people who suffer from povery. Let us help them and be happy.
