How Media Effect Our lIfe?
Media is like a civil society which shapes our view/perspectives about the events in the society. But these days media is focusing on profit because of huge competition like so many news channel broadcasting news 24 hours.
They want to increase their TPR ratings so they try to bring issue which makes interesting to watch for some people.
How many be interested in hearing same Kashmir events (millitant/jawans killed), Indians external policy events, business news (common people are hardly interested).
Media is trying to make news entertaining so that they can catch more people. For India, entertaining news are some politician caught in scandal, some sex related news, local news (like no water for 7 days in some colony) etc.
Media should be regulated otherwise it will harm our society by highlighting unimportant news and by hiding crucial news.
