Hero name: Vijay
Heroine name: Maya
Vijay aged 22, and Maya aged 22; work in a training institute. They have to go to work by morning 9 and they return by evening 8. Vijay got this job when he was 21 and he worked there for a year. It was April; Maya had just joined the job. Their job is to take classes on computer languages. Vijay is a guy of silent nature; he is also shy type by himself. He is smart in his work and does his work with sincerity. But he has one drawback, he takes time to overcome any problem he faces and does waste everything till then. Though he has this drawback he was selected for this job because of his interest, intelligence, and his style of teaching which attracts everyone. He is so friendly towards everyone and everyone loves him. One fine day he was called by the institute head for a meeting. After having taken the class he went to meet the head.
Vijay: Excuse me sir!
Head: Yeah! Please come in Vijay, Please take your seat.
Vijay: Thank you sir. Sir I had been called for some meeting here.
Head: Yeah Vijay, It’s about project presentation. Every year we used to compete with other institutes for the national level project presentation on Ethical Hacking. So it is quiet some time you had been working here. This year you are doing this project presentation.
Vijay: Oh! It is my pleasure sir. I am really thankful to you sir.
Head: Oh! Never mind you deserve it. And that you will be doing this along with the newly joined and hacking expert Maya. So get along with her and do it well. All the best!
Vijay: Thank you sir!
Vijay was beatific (so happy, blissful). He was not able to believe it. He then hurried to the reception to enquire about Maya. Later that day he went out with his friends for a party. They enjoyed there. The next day when he was going through some of his work papers the receptionist called for him to make introduction to Maya. He came there and first time saw her. The receptionist introduced her to Vijay and left the place. Vijay was stunned at the beauty of Maya. His heart started beating at a faster rate on seeing her. Maya pushed her hand forward for a handshake. On shaking hands with her he felt the chillness in her palm. It was so soft like a petal of the rose flower.
Maya: Hi!
Vijay: Hi!
Maya: I am Maya. So it is the project, we shall meet later to discuss about this. See you then.
Vijay: hmmm, k.
She left the place then. But he did not leave for sometime. Later he went to his cabin and sat there and was thinking about her. Her face struck him again and again. The next day he received a messaged from Maya. It said “we shall meet today in canteen at 3 to plan about the project”. After reading her message he was totally surprised and was happy. He rehearsed several times in front of mirror as of how to talk to her. Later that day he went to canteen at 2.45. Then she came. He stood up for her then sat down with some of his work papers. She was talking about the project plans but most of the time he hesitated to talk to her face to face. His heart was beating rapidly. His mind voice praised of her beauty. He was seeing her fingers shaking in air as she was talking. Her voice was bit stern. He was frozen from the moment of the starting of the conversation. He could feel that his back body started to pain as the conversation went. So he made some slight jerks without her knowledge.
Maya: I would be free every weekend, so you can just come over to my house for project work. I shall call you at that time.
Vijay: (with low voice) yeah, sure I will come.
Maya: See you then, bye.
Vijay: k bye.
After she left he relaxed himself. He was now able to move his body freely. Now he realized that most of the time it was who was talking and not him. He was totally mesmerized by her. He then went home that night. All the way he was driving he was able to get the thoughts of the meeting in canteen. He wished he had talked more.
The next day, he got up early with an excitement that he would see her. So with enthusiasm he got ready. He ate very little of his breakfast as he was overjoyed. So all the way he was driving to his office he thought how would he meet her and he was thinking of what actually he could talk with her. He reached his office in his vehicle. He got down his vehicle and looked at the mirror. He smiled and tried a little comb for his hair. Then again he smiled and entered the office in joy. He was so thrilled what, when, how he could get a chance to see her. He worked for sometime and then checked his mobile whether he received any message from her. But he did not get any message. He continued his work. For every half an hour he checked his mobile for possible messages from Maya. And it was the same result no messages from her. By afternoon his mobile got charged down, and so he was looking for any chargers to charge his mobile so that he could check if he received any message from her. He asked his friends but none were having at that time. So during lunch hour he skipped his meal and went to buy a charger for his mobile. By the time he returned the lunch duration was over and everyone got back to work. By around 3 he got tired as he did not take any food, But then again he was always checking his mobile for possible messages from Maya with his mobile getting charged. Evening after he had finished his work he took his mobile and made a call to her but she did answer his call. He got depressed. He was too tired and left the office like a sick patient. He reached home drank a cup of coffee, sitting in his sofa. He had kept his mobile in amidst the clumsy arrangement of newspapers. Suddenly his mobile beeped. He jerked off and searched for his mobile. He took his mobile and saw her message. “Come this Saturday to my house at 10 am.” He jumped of his sofa. He was jumping and howling. He then took a bath and refreshed himself.
That night he took his mobile many a time to see the same message from her. He read the message and laughed. That night he slept keeping his mobile near his eyes displaying that message from Maya.
Saturday
The day he awaited so much. He went her house neatly dressed (formals). On the way he was singing and driving. He bought some flowers for her. He then reached her house. Before he knocked her door he suddenly got a bit hesitated to whether give her the flowers. He was in dilemma. And he went back to his vehicle and kept those flowers there. He came back and knocked her door. She opened the door. On seeing him she suddenly burst into laughter. She asked him whether it was the way to dress when he was going to friends’ house. He was so embarrassed and asked her back how she expected him to come. She replied that it would have been fine if he had dressed in t-shirt and jeans and that the formals was looking so odd. She gave him a cup of coffee and then they started working. They got together well in this meeting. All the time when she laughed he was so much lured. At a point of time when she was looking somewhere he took his hand and moved slightly above the wavering end of her hair. He admired each and every action of her. Around evening they had prepared enough for their project presentation and so he was about to leave. He felt a bit sad to leave her. But then he gathered some courage to call her out for dinner. She was shocked at the same time was smiling. She agreed to his proposal. They went to nice restaurant. She had ordered for a non vegetarian food item and he had ordered for vegetarian food. As waiter severed them non veg. he starred at the food and smirked. She was fine with it and she started talking about her family and where she grew. He was not able to eat but then managed to eat a bit of his veg. food. That night he felt as if he had accomplished something great in his life. He reached home and then he played some nice melodious music and started dancing to its tune.
It was the day of project presentation. They both got to an auditorium where the project display was held. She was nervous and was praying to GOD. When she opened her eyes he was standing in front of her. He gave some suggestions and resuscitated her. She finally got confidence and they both did an excellent job in presentation and they did win the first prize. They got a shield and honor for their company. Their office mates got jubilated and they arranged for a disco party. She refused to come for the party as she did not like the party.
It was party time and all drank a little beer and enjoyed. Vijay too enjoyed. After a day of break their scheduled work started. Vijay as usual came to his office with of course thoughts of meeting Maya. But he did not see her neither he got any message from her. The same situation continued for 2 days. The third day he decided to got her house. Later on that day he got news that she got transferred to Bangalore. His face turned sad on hearing it. He wished that he wanted to meet her there. But he did not get any apt situation to make use of it to go there. A few days later his boss called him to inform him that he was assigned a task and that he had to go to Bangalore. He was so happy on hearing it and readily agreed to it. His boss interrupted him to say that he was going 2 months later in December.
Daily morning he used to see the calendar whether it was the day to Bangalore but everyday he got bit down on seeing that he had to wait for 60, 59, 58… days…
At last the day came and went to Bangalore. He enquired his friend where Maya worked. After he completed his task which his boss assigned him he decided to meet Maya. The next day he went to see her. This time he went with some flowers and a small gift. He searched for her office and after some tiresome travel in search of her, he found her office. He went inside to meet her but there they told that she had gone to have her lunch. He enquired the place and went there. She was surprised on seeing him. He gave her the flowers and the gift and wished her happy birthday. She was too surprised on hearing. She smiled and acknowledged him. They sat down and smiled at each other for sometime. They were talking for sometime. In the middle she asked why he had come to Bangalore. He told her that his boss assigned him a task there. He proposed her if she could spend some time with him. Later she took half day leave and then went out with him for some shopping. He was feeling like heaven the time he spent with her. That night he told her that he had to leave the next day and asked when she would return. She told him that she would return after 4 months. They both exchanged their contact numbers and Vijay left back to his town.
Everyday, every evening despite his regular work he used to call and talk to her. They both got so close to each other. They shared their feelings. A strong tight bond grew between them. Each day he waited for her return. Four months she returned. He went to receive her. He greeted her with some flowers of course. But this time he wanted to make it grand. So day later he took her to a place. It was night time. He closed her eyes and took her to that place. When they reached the place he opened her eyes. She was dumbstruck. She saw a fantastic art work; her face so beautifully drawn in color powders and then with candle lights surrounding it. There was romantic background music. And then he took her to his well lighted garden with all kinds of flowers which he had developed right from the day he saw her. She was beatific. After sometime she asked why he made that arrangement. He smiled and then said:::::
Vijay’s response: The first day I saw you I felt happiness. I wished to see you again and again and each time I saw you I felt happy. When I heard that we both had to do project together I had no words than feel very happy. The day I came to your house I was so happy. The way you greeted me with a bursting laughter made me feel happy. You laughed and were happy whenever you saw something obtuse work done by me. Each time it made me feel happy. Each time I called and talked to you my heart froze when I heard your voice. I was so happy. The day you came out with me on your birthday without asking any question made me feel happy. Whenever I close my eyes I can see you. Whenever it is quiet I can hear your voice. Whenever my mobile beeps I search for your message. When I hear your name I feel happy. Every bit of happiness because of you made me do this arrangement for you. I have fallen in love in with you and every bit of love I want you to see it. This is not it my love on you will ever be lasting without any pauses.
Maya’s eyes was half filled with tears as she saw an immense love from Vijay but then she turned her face and left the place without any words for him. Vijay called for her but she never turned. Maya went to her house. She then received a call from Vijay but she did not answer it. She then switched off her mobile. Vijay went to meet her in her house but she never came out. He followed her like her shadow. At last she turned to him with anger in her face.
Maya: What do you think of yourself? All the time I was always friendly to you. All those things which you did for me I thought it was as a friend. I treated you as my best friend. Why did you do this to me? Nothing to talk more; everything is over; you are a stranger to me.
Vijay: I will always love you. No matter whatever hatred you have on me I will love you. I will never disturb you hereafter.
Days passed. Everyday, every night Vijay closes his eyes for sometime and tears roll down his cheeks. They never met each other. Some days later he saw her with some guy. They both were laughing and talking. On seeing it he got possessive on her but he controlled and carried on his work. One day she got sick. Because of that sickness she got too weak and she was not able to walk. She got fainted. When Vijay heard it he rushed he took her to hospital and was with her till she opened her eyes. Once doctor told she would be fine in the near future he felt relaxed. Two days later she opened her eyes and on seeing it Vijay left the place. She saw a bouquet with wordings “get well soon.” Vijay had left those for her.
Months went by and one fine day he got news that she was going to get married with someone else that weekend. He was shocked on hearing it. He went home and then cried like anything.
Vijay (crying to him): Maya my love on you is so much that none can have like this on anyone. Why did not you like me? Or have I done any sin that I am experiencing this pain. I can’t even see you move with anyone I don’t know how I am going to see you get married with someone.
The next day he became sick. He took tablet and went to her house. Maya shunned away on seeing him. Vijay stopped her.
Vijay: You did not love me at least allow me to do some help for your marriage.
Maya did not allow him and asked him to leave the place. She slowly walked away from that place until she got out of sight of him and then rushed to her room and started crying. Later she consoled herself and left the room. Vijay did not leave the place but then started doing some work to completely show how he loved her. Two days later she went to see the marriage hall. Vijay was lying down in the hall sleeping. She saw the whole place decorated in a grand way. There were colorful lights and flowers. Water was springing out of the fountain. Birds were tweeting. And love lines written in a letter in his hand said “Loving someone means you show your love and don’t expect anything out of your loved ones. When your loved ones start hating you leave them alone which does not mean that you don’t love them. When your loved one loves someone else don’t forget them instead love them and their love.” Maya on reading it cried near him. Vijay woke up on hearing it.
Maya slapped him and said “I love you, idiot. Why are you killing me with your love? I love you so much. Will you marry me?”
Vijay on hearing it felt so happy. Tears rolled down and he hugged her and said “I love you, you are my life.” They both got married and lived a happy life.
