ahu sir quizzed and passed the register that had the names of thousands students mentioning their in out time.I checked at the top.The politically active,jogging-freak ,sachin had hung out at 4:30.I mentally calculated the holidays in the month as varun signed and proxied for my signature as well.Well,the softie had that much courage.
“It’s too early”I asked varun .
“It’s not.See Sachin ,who will be more fitter than him.?He has gone out at 4:30 .its 5:15,”
One thing I had noticed about varun,he tried to compete in any field .
“oh varun you shouldn’t go,I too get less time to sleep.”
“see,it’s your wish ,anyway what about treat?”
The guy asked about my promise ,but not at the right time-one I had no money ,and the other the overnight discussion had lost its significance till then.
“is it the right time for treat?”
“so,tell me the right time,I will call bobby and arun too,but what is the party for?”
Yes,these were our friends ,they first ask party time and later the cause.
“OK,call them.At 5 in the evening.And please let’s return.”I paused before saying the last word.
