Justices
Money rules the world, so, we are told; where injustice unfolds, in chains men hold.
We must be just in all dealings. Never look at the person when justice had to be done. Money can buy any one in power. It leads injustice in the world.

King and boy
In ancient times the Saxons had a king whose name was Simon. He was a just and kind king. He had passed very strict laws to prevent crime in his land. One of these laws was that a murder should be punished by blinding both his eyes.
One day the soldiers arrested a boy and brought him before the king. The boy was none but the king’s own son, Albert. Albert was charged with a murder. In the king’s court, Albert told that had murdered a man because he was wicked. The king said that it was the court which had power to decide whether the Man was wicked or not. You had done a crime and you would be punished according to the law.
The king ordered his soldiers to pluck his son’s eyes out. Though the king was sad but he had to do justice.
When soldier removed one Albert’s eyes, the king said, ``Stop! I am also responsible for this murder since the man who did it, is my own son. Therefore, I order that one of my eyes should also be removed.’’
The soldiers were unwilling to do so. But the king insisted and one of the king’s eyes was also removed.
King and army commander wife
Long ago, David was the king of Israel. He was very powerful. He built a huge palace in the city of Jerusalem.
One afternoon, as he was walking on the terrace of his place, he saw a beautiful woman walking below. He called his attendant and inquired who she was. ``Sir, she is the wife of your general Urias. Urias is now in the battle-filled. He goes everyday to the temple to pray for her husband’’.
``I must make her my wife,’’ thought David. But, since her husband was alive, it was unlawful to make her as his wife.
The wicked king made a plan. He sent a message to the army commander that Urias must be put the frontline of the battle where he would meet death at the hands of enemies.
The king’s order was carried out, and Urias died fighting for his king. When the news reached David, he called the widow and married her.
Then one day a prophet came to see the king.
``Lord! My neighbor who has a hundred sheep took away the only little lamb I had. He killed it and ate it up. I want justices 6o be done.’’ the prophet said. The king was very angry at he neighbor of the prophet. He ordered his immediate arrest.
At this prophet said, ``Sir, you are that neighbor. You took away the wife of Urias after killing him. God will punish you for this crime. You and your people will suffer defeat and famine. Your own son will rise against you, just as you rose against the innocent Urias’’.
