Gone are the days .... when I used to curse Doordarshan for programmes like Manaimatchi,Vayalum Vaazhvum, Paamalai, Ethiroli etc.

Gone are the days .... when I used to curiously watch Oliyum Olliyum for the latest movie-songs

Gone are the days .... when I used to watch “Jungle Book” cartoons

Gone are the days .... when I used to curse Doordarshan for “Sorry for the interruption” and “Over to Delhi”

Gone are the days .... when I used to curse my parents for forcing me to study

Gone are the days .... when I used to curse the time-table for keeping Chemistry and History classes after lunch

Gone are the days .... when I used to keep nick-names to my teachers

Gone are the days .... when I used to eagerly await for Annual day and Sports day

Gone are the days .... when I used to dodge my parents by bunking the Maths tuition classes

Gone are the days .... when I used to long for the “Games” period

Gone are the days .... when I used to sit nervously awaiting quarterly, half-yearly, Annual exam results

Gone are the days .... when I used to consider cycling as equivalent to F1 racing

Gone are the days .... when I used to long for quarterly, half-yearly and summer holidays

Gone are the days .... when I used to play cricket matches for hours together during summer holidays

Gone are the days .... when my parents took me to children films like “Anjali”

Gone are the days .... when I managed to maintain friendship-contacts even without mobiles, orkut, emails, Skype, Messengers, etc.

Gone are the days .... when I used to run behind audio and video cassettes

Gone are the days .... when I used to boast of “National” two-in-one, “EC TV”, and VCP/VCR

Gone are those days ....... forever into history

Oh my dear golden (school) days, pls. comeback…..!!!
