Pachmarhi - Kashmir in Madhya Pradesh
Pachmarhi is in Madhya Pradesh state at sathpura mountains of country India. It is 200km away from the capital bhopal. In summer the temperature does not cross 30 degree centigrade here. But in winter the temperature will be zero. Thats why, they said the Pachmarhi in the madhya pradesh as Kashmir. The tourists keep on visiting this place for full year.
Satpura Rani:
Pachmarhi was found by captain Forsyth, a English man in 1862. The english people liked Pachmarhi so they have developed this place very well. Till then this place was rulled by Ghondu Chakravarthy Bhuwan Singh. At that time Pachmarhi is a capital of the Ghondu kingdom. Pachmarhi is 3555 feet above the sea level.Its width is 60km. this is also known as satpura paravath rani.While going to Pachmarhi, on the way we come accross a river called Denva which is situated between two hills and it is so deepest river also. the place which we need to visit in pachmarhi are very far. There are completely hill and caves only. So it is suggested to go out in zeep. Auto's are not at all available over there.
Pandav Caves:
Pandav Caves are 5 caves in one cave. In these caves we can get echo response for the soundings we make. If we play any instrument hear in these caves then the pitch of these sounds will increase. These caves are built by pandavas. According to the history, these caves are been of lord buddha. Due to these 5 caves this place got pachmarhi. So by time the name of pandav caves has been changed to pachmarhi. Among these 5 caves, in Drawpathi cave, air moves very fastly and the bheema cave is full of darkness. If we climb on to these caves and view. then the view will be very beautiful. A big park has been made infront of these caves. In this park, there are different plants are planted of different breed. Due to this UNESCO have announced this place as biosphere reserve. There are rajath water falls of 350feet away from pachmarhi. The water falls looks beautiful. There is water fall called Apsara vihar which is nearer to rajath water falls. Though this water is small but it is very comfortable to take bath in it. So the river near to this water fall has very less dept. So people who visit these water falls will definitely take bath. There is another water fall nearer to pachmarhi. Its name is Bfall. These water falls fall from 150 feet hight. The way to visit this water falls is full of stones. There is no sun set point in pachmarhi which is very special. Its name is Dhoopgarh. The hight of this is 4429 feet. The view from Dhoopgarh will look more beautiful.
Most of the tourists wait there to view the sunset as it is very special there.
Jata sankar:
There is a temple called Jata Sankar which is in pachmarhi. This is situated 1km away from the bus station in pachmarhi. Actually this place is between 2 hills. The water which flow is always cool. There is a siva linga. There is a mahadev hills which is 10km from this temple. There are 2 temple here. The temple named bada mahadev temple which is very small. This temple is situated in cave of length 60 feet. In this temple there are trimurti that is brahma, vishnu and maheshwar. Near to this temple there is another temple called Guptha mahadev temple. This is also situated in another cave. It is 40 feet length. In this only one sivalinga is there. In this temple only 4to 5 people can enter inside. Most of the people feel scade to go inside the temple. On maha siva ratri day lot of people visit this temple.
There is high hill 4km away from Mahadev temple. On this hill there is a charagadh temple. To goto this temple, we need to climb 1300 steps. while climbing we feel difficult but while returning we feel easy.After reaching this temple our tiredness will go away. We can view pachmarhi from chauragadh temple.
Most of the devotes come to this temple when their desire has been fullfilled then they will climb those steps by holding thrisool in their hand and after reaching temple they will place the trisool in temple. That we can see a number of trisool's around the temple. Priyadharshani and Rajendragiri are view points which are bit nearer to the pachmarhi. From these viewpoint the satpura rani hills looks beautiful. The climate of pachmarhi suits for train solider, adventure and train police. So the bharat scout and guides institutes are also there. Mostly population in pachmarhi is 10,000. among them most of thema re belong to army. There is golf court which is specially arranged for them. All these are of 10 years ago things. Animal lovers can visit, satpura national park, satpura tiger rizvo. Most of the students visit this palce as this tour will be more adventurous one. to move from pachmarhi to nagpur. There is direct bus facility for this.
