Rickshaws basically we all call as Auto are found all over India with different colour like yellow,black, red etc, it is a cheap mode of transportation after bus.People specially middle class family can't afford a car.hence, the mode to travel will be bus, Auto or two wheeler vehicle. These days every one has two wheeler. When the family or group of friends want to go out some where they can't switch to their two wheeler.thus, they like to go by Auto.
Auto rickshaws these days cant be trusted at all.the reason behind blaming them is, the meter fault in Auto's.The driver of the auto fidgets with the meter by which the meter runs very fast for 1 kilometer the meter reading shows that the kilometer is 3 and we need to pay 32 instead of rs 14.Another trick to extract money from the public is if we tell the Auto driver i want to go to certain place and he will demand for money and will take the passenger with out putting the meter down.To these type of Auto drivers if we say that please put the meter and we will pay accordingly to the reading, the answer will be "No".
Very few auto driver are left where such fraud is not done .such Auto driver's we must give tips so that they will be happy to live a honest way.
Now coming back to the point of auto drivers who loots public.Who is encouraging them to do this? I say the public its self. The reason behind such cheating is the passenger don't say any thing the meter will be running fast they will just watch it and later after coming out of an auto and argue that why so much we need to pay this and that... it makes no sense because we have to pay the amount what the meter shows.
How this can be stopped?
How public can be saved from such cheaters?

1.If an auto rickshaw meter runs faster and you feel at once get down of it and take another auto.
2. If an auto driver demands for money before hand so please don't agree of it.
3. you can take the auto driver to the traffic police and make a complain regarding the issue.
When all will do this ultimately the public will not face any cheating.By just watching and not taking any action .its waste we must give lesson to such an auto drivers.The public these day's don't have that much money for nourishment how can we bear cheating. we need to do some action to stop malpractice.
