OLYMPICS
The first Olympics were held in BC 776 in Olympia in Greece. In AD 394 the emperor of Rome Theodosius banned the games. These games were revived in 1894 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin. Baron is known as the father of modern Olympics. The 1st modern Olympics were held in 1896 at Athens.
Olympic flag
The Olympic flag was created in 1913 at the suggestion of Baron.

The Olympic flame was lighted and burned for the 1st time at the Amsterdam games

Is composed of 5 intertwined rings each of different colours representing 5 continents of the world placed at the centre of Olympic flag

Yellow – Asia
Black – Africa
