FABRIC PROCESSING - KNITS
Fabric processing is one of the most improtant process done in Garments. Tp obtain the fabric there are some process is there to achieve that fabric. With the help of the those process only we can get the fabric.
The process involves in Fabric processing is listed below, with these process only we can obtain the fabric.They are.
- 1.Spinning
- 2.Knitting
- 3.Washing
- 4.Compacting
These are the main major processing involves on fabric processing.
SPINNING:
Spinning is the process which we are doing for converting the cotton fibres into yarn. In spinning they will wash the cotton and convert the cotton into continuous form of fibers and with the help of some special machinary they will convert the cotton into yarn and they will wind the yarn in Cones.
KNITTING:
After Spinning, the Yarn in Cone form will send to Knitting Mills. Here they will do knitting with the help of knitting machines. According to the structure of fabric the knitting machines will available in market. Knitting machine will consist of around 1000 and more needles in circular form and the design will be achieved with the help of CAM. So, knitting is the process of making the fabric.
WASHING:
Washing is the process which has been done to remove the grey dust from fabric. It is done in roll form. Washing there are many process involved. I will let you know that in my another article.
Compacting:
Compacting is the process done to regular the fabric by using a machine called compacting maching. On this we can adjust the fabric GSM(grams per square meter).
After compacting the fabric will send to the factory and their they will start doing other process.
These are the main important process of fabric without these process we cant able to achieve fabric. I hope all will understand basic process involves in Fabric processing – knits.
