Coordination with coworkers

We spend a big part of our lives in working place with different characters and people with different temperament. Some of them are too complex to deal with while some others are too polite although not as honest inside. There are coworkers with whom you are never comfortable to work with but you cannot avoid them on these grounds because they and you have to work in the same office and cope with each other. 

You have an option to avoid them but you simply cannot avoid them for a long time. You shall have to come to terms because you have to adjust with different personalities to carry on in your carrier in a perfect way. You can judge them with their behavior and deal with them on the merit of the particular person. Here are some different personalities for your ready reference.

Complaining type

Such people are never satisfied, they are never happy with any thing. In fact, they can keep ranting on smallest of problems, be it any thing. They cannot see any one promoted ahead of them maybe they cannot see change in work procedure or new system of work. In other words, they find some thing or the other to make a complaint. They want every thing for their own self rather than making any efforts to achieve that. Such people always trust in gossips and take fresher in their influence for a short-term gain.

It is not easy to deal with such persons or change them easily. Starting a conversation with such persons is not an easy job because they are simply a bag full of complaints who do not want to cooperate but make you frustrated. The best way to treat such persons is to leave them to their own and just keep a vigil on their activities.

Angry Type

Here is another complex variety of a coworker who loses temper once some one tells him that he is not doing according to rules or as per plan. You must posses some muscles power along with tactics to deal with such persons. Therefore, unless they understand that you can deal with them in their own language most probably they would never understand although, they do not lack in intelligence. Once you deal with them properly, they know you better than ever before and try to avoid making trouble with you in future.

Stubborn Type

This variety never listens to you but feels that he is the only one who could be right. These kinds of people always try to act against proper advices unless dealt strongly and in a strict manner. They always consider their well-wishers as their enemies especially, their seniors who try to control them. The best way to tackle such people is to talk to them carefully and ask for explanation. There is no need to be defensive or compromising while dealing with such people because that would make them feel as if you have given up and they become more aggressive. Be friendly with such people to tackle them to solve the problems.

Yes-Sir Type

This is one of the unique types of the lot. He always looks like cooperating fully well but never comes to fore while most needed. He would always agree to your ideas but never insight while the time to act comes. This kind of persons show like working in fact never works in reality. They are least trustworthy who never come true on their commitments. The best way to tackle such people is to tell them clearly that you expect them to complete the allotted work on time and never make a false commitment because hat is not good for the entire team and company ultimately. I hope that they would understand you in a better way in future. 

Hopeless or Pessimistic Type

This is supposed to be worst varieties of workers who never think in a positive way. They have no faith in themselves or their coworkers. They always have different excuses to present for different reasons. Their family members are always ill, their relatives dying more often their body language never right and never prepared for any responsibility. They always try to dissuade others as well. The best way to tackle them is to make them understand that management knows the reality and work is the only alternative for a successful carrier. Also a little bit of booster dose from time to time is a good way to keep moving them.

Perfect type

Now this is the most complex situation for any company to have such people. There are two varieties of people like these. One- they are competent, self-starter and know their job and the others are semi expert but show as if the company would fail without them and exerting type. They act as if they are the boss around. They show superiority while putting forward their ideas. They do not want to change according to work’s demands and do not want to cooperate with any one in the team. They want their own way and space.

The best way to deal with such people is to complete your homework carefully and talk to them on level terms. In case you do not have any thing worthwhile, never come forward wit your inferior ideas that would only make things worse for you. Such people are assets for the company but the fact remains that every one is part of the team and should not act superior to others that may only bring down the team spirit and make things worse for the organization.
