It is difficult for me to imagine how I would feel if ever I became a millionaire. I am sure I would be too excited and it would take some time to calm down and accept reality. Obviously, then I would not need a job. If God has been so kind to me, should I not prove my deservedness? I should find the best way of spending my money. I shall seek the advice of some philanthropist and some social welfare organizations. It is hard for us to believe that in spite of our governments Rural Electrification, there are some remote villages which have not seen electric lights. Where is the hope of education for these unfortunate people? I shall leave no stone unturned to brighten these villagers’ lives. Thereupon I would arrange to open new schools, give them worldwide knowledge by installing TV Sets for mass viewing. Thus the villagers will receive education as well as entertainment. Next I shall turn my attention to capitalists who employ child labour. With the help of the local authorities, I shall see that these children are removed from their jobs and sent to school, and unemployed men can be put in their places. This will result in a twin benefit, education for children and employment for men. After achieving so much, I am sure at least half of my wealth would be over, and some years would have passed. I shall go back to a job. The remaining money can be invested sensibly so that with the interest therefore I can continue to do good to the poor in general, children, women, sick and old people. I would never become selfish or proud. I would consider myself a blessed one to have such a unique chance of helping the others. I would continue to have my usual standard of living and continue with my job. If I still have any funds available, I should be happy to do something for the welfare of animals. So much of them are treated cruelly, beaten mercilessly and made to toil, or disowned when they are sick or old. Animals in villagers have no facility for medical aid or treatment. I would suggest that some village boys live in towns by under-fed bullocks. Either we should stop employing bullocks or we should provide water tanks at intervals of about two km. This step will improve the lot of the uncomplaining creatures.
