Or the past always looks better as some of us think that even the British period was better than the present political scenario in India.

Past looks good when the conditions deteriorate in the present. Naturally there arises a scope for comparison.

Communism is not all that bad as capitalist propagate it or the communist did not make it look that way. It was a way for collective progress with the only aim that every available asset was for every one on equal basis.

And from this communism, we have taken the format of 'collective farming' in 60s. Naturally communism looks like a demon for a capitalist and vice versa.

Communists kept every thing behind iron curtain giving them opportunity to fowl play.

During Nehru and Bulganin's time Russians were not that opaque.

actually the principle of communism is- From each according to his ability and to each according to need. But this is impracticable during transitional period as mindset is not changed so soon. Hence, the principal for the period is changed to- From each according to his ability and to each according to his work. absolute equality is not suggested. This would be 'according to work' in scientific socialism and 'according to need' when communist stage arrives.

Actually communism is grossly misinterpreted. In fact the proletariat is that class in society which lives entirely from the sale of its labor and does not draw profit from any kind of capital, The life and death, whose sole existence depends on the demand for labor is what communism is.
The machines, which were very expensive and hence could be bought only by big capitalists, altered the whole mode of production and displaced the former workers, That's how Marx thought of communism. Which all was converted to a self styled communism in later stages that made all the difference.

Factions and divisions based on power mongering , self styled communists disfigured the very concept of Communism. These groups even brought the word "Communalism" in to Communism, which was not in the Communism. Purists say, the present Communism is not Communism.

It is very easy to mold any ISM according to rules of the time, communism a poor favoring way was ruined by power hungry politicians. They changed the very meaning of it.
