Difference between a guest user & registered user?

I have seen that there is an option of guest user, how is it different from registered user?

What additional benefits does a guest user have than a normal visitor without guest login?

Is guest user also eligible for points & earnings?

Registered users can sign in and participate in different activities of the site and get earnings or points. Guest users can visit the site and read the forum discussions, answers, articles, polls and other sections of the site but can not participate or earn points. Even if you are registered user but you do not sign in, you will be barred from participating as you will be treated as a guest user.

Guest user can only visit site but can't use site. Many online user visit on site and wants to know about sites features before joining so it is useful for them.

epraneeth77 So the guest user cannot use the site but just the history of his activity is recorded? I thought he is also eligible to be using site in the manner as registered user uses but he does not earn any money or points to earn cash rewards - epraneeth77 - 6 years ago

Guest users are those who are not registered. As far as I know they are not eligible for points or earnings. They can only view and read.
