What are the advantages of 3G data card over other cards in internet. How fast is 3G data card as compared to others.

BSNL is offering 3G services including 3g DATACARD for internet. Is 3g data card faster than broadband service?  Other companies may also introduce 3g services and 3g datacard. Which is best?

Advantages of 3g data card are,
1. Faster data connectivity - you can download faster and surfing is lot more fun with 3g.
2. Uninterrupted video streaming on phones.
3. Video calls and  multimedia messages.
4. Good for data intensive applications.

To my knowledge, these are the service providers of 3G in India,

1.BSNL-Rs 274
2.AIRTEL-Airtel 3G rental will be Rs 700-800 per month.
3.IDEA-Rs. 1,999/

I must say stick with broadband

Reasons are,
1.3g is too costly now
2. broadband can be made faster in the coming days in india
3.3g has limited speeds

3g feature surely gives good speed, and yes sometime even faster than broadband. But bad thing is that they are still quite costly in India.

3G data card service is provided by bsnl and its speed 3.6mbps.too much speed than other broadband services and data card. 20gb file upload in an hour. moblie tv service on 3Gdata card bsnl is too good.

Wireless internet like 3G and EVDO are less expensive. Additionally they are easy to carry to any place.
