What a common person can do when he/she is no happy with the ruling government?.

I always think what a common people could do when he/she is not happy with the ruling government. Is there any thing in the constitution or one has to tolerate the government for whole 5 years? and again if it comes in power?.

A common person will be generally unhappy with performance of government officials. He must make complaints to higher authorities. There are websites of various departments for this. As regards disgust with government policy, one must exercise his voting right judicially. Also, the common person should ensure that he does his job properly and also encourages those working with him honestly and properly.

I don't think there is any way to fight against the government unless a large group protests against. Otherwise the only option for a single common man is to tolerate for the entire 5 year period.

There are several ways to tackle the situation. Right to information is one way.From here you can get a documentary evidence. Basing on this you can go for any court. If the issue is related to consumerism, you can go for consumer court, for which there are no lawyer charges. If there is a will , there is a way.

If majority of people has voted a particular party for the state and the country, we should live in the government formed by that party in that state or the country. If mass choose wrong party, their is no other way out to get rid of it unless the government falls or the parliament house dissolves it and calls for re-election.

If most of the people are not happy with the actions taken by the government (state or central), they can show their opposition by protests. They need to wait until the elections to change the government.

I dont think that we can do anything much other than show our anger by protesting .However, unity and numbers give us strength which if used in the right manner can show results.When a government becomes absolutely dis functional, it is bound to result in a civil war like we see it happening in many Arab countries...
