Why mornings are cold?

I have noticed.....even during hot summer, at early mornings temperature is slightly less. Why so? One may answer, it's due to the absence of sun in the early mornings. But how? Sun rises very soon in the early morning. Obviously sun is very near and earth should be hot. If distance between sun and earth is the only criteria, earth should be more cold at midnights. But it's not the truth. We feel chilled during early morning. What's its explanation?

N.B: I am not neglecting the fact that due to rotation, one side of earth always faces sun and when it's day in Asia, it's night at US.

The reasons for morning coolness depends on one or all the following
Depending on Longitude and Latitude of a place the intensity of heat on that particular place varies.
The angle at which the sun's rays reach Earth is directly related to the intensity of sunlight at the surface.
You know Sun is highest at noon. And this highest point is known as ‘Zenith.’ And this zenith varies from place to place depending on latitude and longitude.
Now if you want to know the reasons why Kovalam is cooler than Kottayam or Kozhikode, you have to attribute the reason for their variation of Latitude and longitude.

I think During daytime Sun is over ourself but after evening to till morning climate remain cool as compared to day time. This make morning a little bit cooler as compare to daytime.

The temperatures would drop at night and the temperature would rise only when the sun is out in the morning.
