What to do to lose weight?

I feel I have a gained weight and want to lose it. What should I do?. Don't tell do some physical work or have some controlled diet.

The first thing you should do is start maintaining a diary of your daily food intake, even if you munch on a handful of peanuts or pop in a candy, you should write it down. This way you will know exactly how much you are eating and that will help you become conscious of avoiding such in-between snacking.

Secondly, when you eat your meals, take time to chew food properly, chew each bite for at least 25 times, although Ayurveda recommends 32 times, I think it is unrealistic to maintain. If we eat fast our brain does not recognise when our stomachs are full and we tend to overeat. Once you start eating slowly, you will realise that you only need three chapatis to satiate your hunger and you will eat maybe one or two chapatis less. So eating slowly will help you cut down on quantity and also enable you to enjoy the flavors and taste of your food more.

Lastly start walking daily, start with a kilometre and gradually increase it to 5 km daily and then maintain that distance. Walk at a brisk pace and maintain speed. Do not alternate between slow and fast walk, but steady walk. To complement, you may add other exercises such as yoga, cardio etc.

You put on weight when you dont do enough exercise and eat more than is needed, so to lose weight you have to concentrate on the very same things - eat less and sensibly ( less carbo and starch and more protein and fibre) also do some physical activity like brisk walking...

Sanjeev you also facing the same problem like me now a days I am having excercise now i am in good stage having running will help you to loose weight. Before every meal have half piece of ginger with hot water try for 40 days if you did not loose weight continue for another 40 days.

First off set your goals and stick to rules. I suggest anyone willing to reduce weight to plan it as per his height. KG/Inch is an ideal weight for men and 800gms for women. Go for jogging, eat with lesser calories and try to avoid junk. If you still do not succeed go for a diet plan. Go for rigorous workouts if you can afford to do tem. Never try any thing beyond your limit while exercising. Your intake of fruits in place of solid lunch would help but do not skip your breakfast in any case.

Physical work or controlled diet is the best method. But since you said, you are is search of methods other than this, I will add on some other suggestions.
Eat more fruits and more vegetables. They are negative calorie foods. They burn our body calorie to digest these foods.
Drink a glass of water before your food.
Avoid Junk foods.
Never skip your breakfast.

Eating in moderation, sweating out through physical exercise or Aerobics according to the need should take care of your body weight.

Do exercises like running,walking, cycling and swimming. Try to control your calorie intake. Avoid aerated drinks and instead of that drink plenty of water. Stop taking sugar in any form. Dieting does not mean skipping breakfast or meal because you may reduce your calorie intake for a short period but you will be hungrier than ever before. The main point is to follow a routine chart, whatever happens stick to it because Rome was not built in a day.

First of all you have to control on your diet after that go for a morning walk and increase the duration of the morning walk. Drink lots of water and after dinner and lunch go for a short walk. Eat green vegetables and fruits.
This will help you to reduce your weight.

Weight gain is a very common problem now a days due to various reasons like work-life balance, nature of job, skipping meals, eating junk food , stress, lack of good sleep, limited physical activities etc. If you want to lose your weight without rigours exercise, yoga and dieting plan then just drink pomegranate juice twice a day and take 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon powder with lukewarm water twice a day, and do not skip meals. Try this and you will feel the difference in a month.

To reduce the weight,first thing donot touch the junk foods,next daily you should follow food chart,greens and half boiled food should be compulsory in your food chart.
