Do you think irregular habits and junk food is reason to our bad health?

A healthy lifestyle is answer to all problems related to our health although it is not a guarantee for a disease free life. We should lead a life with as much control on bad habits and junk food as possible. What do you say??

Our health depends on how we live. Food habit is an important element of our life style. Hence, it goes without saying that food habit- what we eat, how we eat, what combination we eat, over eat or under eat- affect our health. That is why a doctor prescribes not only medicines but also certain fruits or vegetables and restricts some food.

Junk food is basically taste oriented. To add taste many unhealthy ingredients like spices, hydrogenated vegetable oil, saturated fats, , sugar substitutes etc, are added. Practically all these ingredients are devoid of nutrients. Most importantly junk food lacks dietary fiber. The result is there will be an increase in the bad cholesterol, destabilisation of blood sugar levels etc.
