Water is most essential for living.

Water is drinking liquid. No clean water in some villages. They are suffering from the shortage of water.

Water is very important to us. 70% of our body is made of water. Internal organs our body can function only in the presence of water. Our body loses water by way of setting, urine etc. to compensate for this loss; we drink sufficient water and also drink milk, tea, coffee, cold drink etc.

Generally water shortage in summer, that effect is more on the people. They face many difficulty and troubles in bringing water.

Like food and air, we cannot do with out water too.

To keep, our body needs a good amount of water.

We quench our thirst by dinking water.

The most important use of water is drinking.

All animals need to drink water.

They would die without it.

Even plants cannot live and grow without water.

We use water also for other important things in everybody life.

We use water for bathing, washing and cleaning ourselves.

  • Water is also needed in cooking
  • To wash our clothes we need water
  • To keep our homes clean, we need water.
  • To wash our plates, cups and dishes, we require water.

*If you have a garden or a farm, you need t water the plants and crops. If you have pets, you have to give them water to drink. Water is used for many things.

Life becomes difficult when do not have enough water.

In village and small towns, people usually get their water from ponds, well and tube-well.

In cities and towns the water supply is taken from large lakes rivers.

This water is sent through pipelines to the taps in the houses.

Farmers need a lot of water for growing good crops.

Rain water is not always enough to meet the farmers’ requirement.

They have to get water for their fields by other ways.

At times, they get their water from canals.

They also use deep tube-wells.

*We should not waste water and use it judiciously other wise we will face scarcity of water.
