Yes, we can call this as First Objective Of the Day.From the time we get up,we think of what should be eaten at breakfast.The smell of a good aroma arouses our appetite and we crave to eat them

The basic main aim of Food is to provide nourishment,nutrients and render growth.

We can classify the food into-

Based on Origin

1.Plant Based foods-Cereals,Vegetables,Fruits,Nuts

2.Animal Based foods-Meat and Meat products(beef,chicken,mutton);Egg and egg products;Milk and milk products

Based on Processing

1.Confectionaries-

Wheat based confectionaries-Bread,Biscuit,wafers,cakes

Sugar based confectionaries-Candies,toffees,bars,lozenge,

Cocoa based confectionaries-chocolates

2. Dairy products-

 Milk - toned milk,double toned milk,skimmed milk,low fat milk

Milk products-cheese,butter,ghee,sweets(pedha,khoa),ice cream

3.Fruits and Vegetable processings-candied fruits,jams,jellies,sauces,marmalades,pickles,etc

4.Bevarages-

Alcoholic beverages-wine,beer,whisky

Non-alcoholic beverages-water,fruit juices,coconut water

Areated drinks-cola drinks,pepsi,etc

We have been learning about the importance of eating 'right amount' of food since childhood,it is important for everyone to know

FOOD COLOURS

Many of the times,we observe that people change their environment with colors;when a person likes red,the surroundings of the person's personal space will be painted red and so on.

Different colors of food enhances various activities

RED:shows 'energy' eat red colored foods when tired,it boosts up energy.some foods are pomegranate,tomato,cherries,etc

YELLOW:Shows 'detoxification' eat yellow colored foods for proper bowel movements.some foods are lemon,banana,etc

BLUE/BLACK-Blue foods shows'calming' effect.These should be eaten during night,so we can have a good rest.some foods are brinjal,grapes,etc

GREEN:Green shows 'life' This should be eaten during mid-day.This brings out a newness in you.some foods are spinach,capsicum,etc

ORANGE:Boosts sexual feelings,some foods are prawns and orange juice

WHITE:White literally doesnt do much,but adds on weight.Such foods are milk and milk products,potatos,radish,etc

ALL COLORS:It is better to have a 'colorful' food,it balances all the activities in the body
