MNP may start in November (India)
Mobile Number Portability, MNP, which was to launch in India this October, is now likely to delay by a month as the figures for MNP transfer fee is not yet set, said an official from Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
“TRAI is likely to float consultation for MNP next week. After which we will be able to decide on the final fee for it. There are chances of slight delay. It may start from November but we are making our efforts to be in time,” said the official.
