Greedy King
In this article we are going to learn a king Midas how he wished god for a wish and what the situations he had with his wish. Once there was a king called Midas he was very greedy person. He wanted more and more wealth. He was not satisfied with his wealth and he wanted more so for this he had an idea in his mind. So he wished for a Golden touch to god. He prayed and prayed the god. Finally god Mercury was pleased and granted him his lovely wish. According to it everything he touched would turn into god. Midas was extremely happy. He touched his bed. It turned in to a golden bed. He touched the curtains and they turned into gold. He was very happy for his wish. His servant brought him lunch. He touched that delicious food. They turned in to the gold. He was very sad. He ordered his servant to put the items in his mouth. Some how he finished his lunch. Then he want to check his wish so he went out of his kingdom and touched some things in the forest as they became gold and he was very happy with his wish. In that happy moment he became thirsty so he wanted to drink water and went to a pool to drink water as he touched that pool It turned in to gold pool. He felt very sad for this and returned back to kingdom. At that time his only daughter came running to him. He touched her with great affection. She turned in to a lovely gold image. On seeing that, he burst in to tears. He repented and requested God Mercury to with draw the wish he given. God Mercury took back the boom. Midas was happy and he was no longer ambitious.
