My latest journey
Last week I went to tiruchi to attend a wedding. I traveled by bus with some of my friends.
We went to Madurai Mattuthavani bus stand at 10 A.M. We bought the tickets and got into an Air bus. It left Madurai at 10-20 A.M.
The bus was packed to capacity. So there were no seats vacant. Being an express, it did not stop at all places on the way. The seats were very comfortable and so the journey was very pleasant. In a short time we reached melur.
At melur a large party of students got down. They had come there from Madurai to play a football match. Only two new passengers got in. we all had hot coffee. The bus left melur at 11-30 A.M.
Next, the bus stopped at viralimalai. It is a pilgrim centre. There is a big temple of lord murgugan on a hill. We had a glimpse of the temple as the bus passed by.
At last the bus reached tiruchi at about 1-30 P.M. there we got down from the bus. We engaged a taxi and made for pudur.
It was the first time I traveled on this route. The weather being fine the journey was not tiresome. I had a pleasant time all the while, enjoyed the beautiful scenery outside.
