Mind Makes Magic!
The mind is always full of thoughts and ideas. It is a bundle of thoughts. Desires are born in the mind. Thoughts are born in the mind. The mind is like a fertile field. A fertile field always yields good crop. In the same way, the mind yields thoughts.
Good seeds yield good crops. Bad seeds yield poor crops. So it is with the mind. If you sow good things in the mind, read good books, hear good music, have good company, good thoughts are born. If you don’t sow good thoughts, read bad books, have bad company, the mind will be overrun with thorny bushes, bad thoughts take over.
The mind is a very powerful instrument. If you make up your mind, you can win even when it seems as though you might lose. If you make up your mind, you will always be victorious. When the mind is free from worldly desires, then it does not care for wealth and fame. But if it is burdened by the cares of the world, then no matter how much money the person has, he remains dissatisfied.
A person who is weak in mind trembles with fear even in his own home. Physical strength is no power at all. Mental strength is true power. Most people are afraid when they chance upon a lion in the jungle. A person who has a strong mind is not afraid. Everybody should be mentally strong.
It does not matter who you are: student or teacher, doctor or software engineer, housewife or social activist, man or woman. You need mental strength to cure diseases. You need mental strength to create new software. You need mental strength to guide your family. You need mental strength to reform the society. You need mental strength to climb Mount Everest.
A weak mind makes a hundred excuses. Success comes from within. Victory and defeat exist in our mind. Take the case of Henry Frost. He lost his eye in an accident. His father was very depressed. But Henry was not. He said, “Don’t worry about me, father. The blindness will not stand in the way of success.” He grew up to become a member of British parliament.
Thus you know that your mind holds the key. It makes you weak. It makes you strong. Your mind should be firm and resolute. If you can control your mind, you can build for yourself a very bright future. It is fact. Victory and defeat lie in the mind.
