Our library
Our library is housed in two rooms. In one room are placed big almirahs, full of book the other room serves as the reading room. Magazines, journals and newspapers are placed there. There are about 10,000 books in our library which are arranged according to their subjects matter. The book can be traced within no time. The books cater to needs and interests of the readers of all age –groups. There are biographies, novels, short story books collections, tales of adventure, scientific discovers, books of poems and plays, etc in our library.
There are two separate sections in the library. One of them contains reference books like dictionaries, encyclopedia and other technical books for teachers. The other section contains books that are meant only for students and readers.
There is `open-shelf system’ in the library. Some books are often lost the losses are negligible. Every regular reader has a library card. The reading room is crowded during the evening time. Most of youth of the boys simply look at the pictures in newspapers and magazines. However, there are a few students who are serious readers. I visit library every day without fail. I learn something new almost daily. The reading room and the library enrich my knowledge.

Some books we read simple for pleasure and amusement for example, good novels. and novels and books of imagination must have their place in every body’s reading .when we are tired, or the brain is weary with the serious studies, it is a healthy recreation to lose ourselves in some absorbing story written by a master hand.
But read nothing but books of fiction is like eating nothing but sweet meets. As we need a plain, whole some food for the body, so we must have serious reading for the mind. And we here we can choose according to our taste. There are many noble books on history, biography, philosophy, religion, travel, and science witch we ought to read, and which will gives us not only pleasure but an education. Best poetry gives us noble thoughts and beautiful imaginings clothed in lovely and musical language. Books are the most faithful of friends. Our friends may change. Or die, but books are always patiently waiting to talk us.
