Bora Bora is a small island located in France (French Polynesian) in the Pacific Ocean. It is the most sought out overseas honeymoon spot because of the romantic scenic beauty that encompasses this beautiful island. The island is surrounded by lagoon and coral beefs. While Four Seasons is an expensive resort charging you around $1500 which comes to 82,000 INR approx. per day. However the average minimum luxury stay for one night in any of the hotels/resorts of Bora Bora would come to be around 60,000-70,000 INR depending on the facilities you choose for. The restaurants too in Bora Bora are a lot expensive. An ordinary burger can cost you around 100 INR ($20). So, the restaurants are a bit overrated. On an average for a 5-6 days stay a maximum of $10,000 would do the good, inclusive of all the expenses. In terms of Indian rupees it will be around 5, 00,000-6, 00,000 INR. Sunset Hill loge charges you between 3600 – 8000 INR.

Tips before leaving:

  1. Go for a packaged tour from your place. These packages sometimes offer you with great discounts and look for all the facilities that you require.
  2. Bora Bora is one of the highly expensive tourist destinations. Do keep some extra cash than your thought budget.
  3. Inform the staffs of the place about the dietary requirements. Even if you are a non-vegetarian, there would be a distinct change in taste and flavor. Not all can be gorged by you.
  4. Do some internet search about the places you plan to visit. You would not want to miss anyone of them there.
  5. Learn some French language (not mandatory!). This will help you to communicate better.
