74.6% polling in Kerala


Kerala has recorded a higher polling percentage compared to the 2006 assembly elections with the state registering 74.6%, according to the figures available with the state election commission. The state had registered 72.27% polling in the 2006 elections.

It goes to the credit of Keral residents that they use their votes properly. Here in U.P. the uneducated vote more than the educated elite who dislike standing in queue for voting. They will discuss for hours but not vote.
